Jocelyn Michelle Brown is a music supervisor, producer, rights administrator, conduitand consultant.
She is the Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Reality Club, LLC - a consultancy offering music supervision, licensing, clearance and research services. Reality Club specializes in helping creators utilize music in a thoroughly considered way, prioritizing its role in historical, cultural and critical contexts. The consultancy counts such brands as Nike, Telfar, Netflix and The Whitney Museum of American Art among its primary clients.
Prior to these efforts, Ms. Brown served as a Music Supervisor and Producer within theadvertising space – most notably for DDB Chicago and Leo Burnett. In the past, she has served as a juror for Clios Music, Cannes Lions Entertainment Lions for Music, AICP Awards and is a current member of the Recording Academy. She has worked in various capacities for such independent record labels and music publishers as Chocolate Industries, Hefty Records, International Anthem and Warp.
Ms. Brown currently lives and works between Los Angeles, Chicago and Pensacola, Florida.
